In practice, robotics is a field that encompasses science, engineering, technology and information technology (particularly coding). Although many organisations dabble in artificial intelligence and developing robots in the stereotypical sense, the field of robotics is continuously expanding and involves various sub-field in automation-especially in the engineering industry. Legacy was founded by a desperate mother who could not secure a place for her child at any of the private schools where her other children had been. The appreciation of high standards in education based on her experience as a former private scholl teacher, a Corporate Executive at TWR & other companies, Company Director, Pastor, Leadership Training Coach & Personal/ Marriage/ Family life counsellor, she decided to take leaps of faith in obedience to the call - a call which she had ignored for ten years! She and her husband started the school in November 2005 in a house in Borrowdale with (7) seven children. The seven little stars are a reminder of where LIS started. Legacy, therefore, is responding to a real need in our nation, to widen the base of quality private school education.
